Every day, thousands of food and beverage workers in our community go to work without reliable access to healthcare. For many, getting sick can mean missing a shift, losing income, or facing a medical bill they simply cannot afford.

At Good Work Austin, we believe the people who make our restaurants, bars, cafés, and kitchens thrive deserve access to the same basic security as everyone else.

That’s why we launched our Healthcare Access Program, connecting local food workers with affordable health coverage and helping them navigate the enrollment process.

And it’s working.

Through this program, we’re helping food workers understand their options, enroll in coverage, and get connected to resources that can make healthcare more affordable.

But there is still so much work to do.

Between now and December 31, we’re raising $50,000 to help Good Work Austin continue building healthier, more equitable careers for food and beverage workers.
